Fixes a brief pointer pause after crossing display edges handled by DisplaySpan, making cursor movement more continuous.

The on-screen brightness indicator now more closely matches the native macOS appearance, with improved materials and contrast.
Standard brightness key presses now move to the next whole brightness step after slider adjustments. Shift-Option fine adjustment remains available.

When a supported external display cannot report brightness but its control channel is available, brightness adjustment is now enabled automatically without a confirmation test.
Choose Automatic or Always Write Only for each external display. Control mode and reference levels are restored for reliably identified displays after reconnecting or restarting.
Clearer brightness controls and troubleshooting distinguish app-set reference levels from actual display readings. Diagnostic brightness tests remain optional.

Displays that accept brightness changes but cannot report their current level can now be controlled after you confirm a test change.

Cursor crossing now uses one layout that starts with your macOS arrangement. Drag display thumbnails to connect edges; changes save automatically without moving your system displays.
Wallpaper thumbnails and full display names on hover make screens easier to identify. Dashed edges show where automatic repair applies or the pointer will stop.
Cursor layouts update display sizes after resolution changes, keeping connected edges where possible. Resetting to the system arrangement keeps the layout in sync with macOS until you customize it again.
Opening DisplaySpan again brings up Settings. New Settings and setup windows open centered on the main display.

Adjusting brightness with the keyboard now shows a classic on-screen brightness indicator on the display being adjusted, and display identifiers are centered on each screen.
The brightness-keys setting explains that some keyboards need the Fn key held.
